Thank you to all those who have donated to the auction in support of the NIBS ‘Bonsai 30’ Exhibition. The deadline for lots to be added has now past and we are now set to go with 49 lots available for bids.

With so many bids coming in from outside of Northern Ireland we thought it wise to point out once again that bidders pay for packaging and postage. Trees will be packaged in a professional manner to ensure a safe delivery.  After searching for the best postage option we have opted to use DPD as our courier. (some smaller items such as books may be posted by another courier that is cheaper for small parcels.) DPD have been used in the recent past and have proved to be a reliable service.

DPD rates for delivery to UK are as follows:

Up to 10kg £21.01

10-20kg £29.56

20-30kg £38.32

30-40kg £46.97

40-50kg £55.62

This is just postage, and packaging costs will be added and will be unique to each tree. We will contact the bidder to discuss best package option.

Postage rates to other European countries vary. Please contact us for details. We hope to be able to email a complete list of prices.

Online bid deadline is 9pm Thursday 7th April. We will not accept bids via the auction page after that time.

Persons who are sitting with a successful online bid at that time, and who will not be in attendance at the auction to bid on the night, have the option to be added to a What’s App group to enable them to bid live on the night on their lot. A strict time limit will be set on what’s App bids with 30 seconds of no bids resulting in the lot being marked as sold.
