Just getting around to sorting through all the photos from the weekend and thought I’d start the ball rolling with those taken on Friday night at the club meeting.
Peter started off the evening at our request by delivering a power point on his time in Japan as an apprentice. I have spoken to him before about this, but it was interesting to hear the full story.
After a quick coffee break Peter used the remainder of the time to chose a few of the display trees for critique. A little Sabina Juniper got investigated to start and was followed by a very interesting look at a Raulii and a Maple discussing the need to fix problem branches early on a tree before they become a bigger problem in the future. It was great to see such a good turn out on the night by our members and we hope to see Peter back at a meeting again soon.
