Saturday and Sunday saw the NIBS host Peter Snart of Willowbog Bonsai.

Saturday was a new concept in bonsai learning for us. A day of  ‘Bonsai school’ was held from 10am to 6pm. It was meant to finish at 5 but Peter was in full flow :-)

Sunday was a workshop concentrating on repotting but other aspects were also tackled.

Feed back from our members so far has been excellent and I hope to share some of their experiences here in the coming days. I have a stack of photos to share as well and will be adding some of them over the next few days.

After the motherboard on my computer quit last week I’m working from a very old and slow laptop so please bear with me. Normal service should be resumed during the week. Here’s a few general shots of the weekend to wet your appetite.
